Graphic Design Intern 
Open Organize is a technology consulting firm that partners with social sector organizations to increase their effectiveness and expand the scope of their goals. We create custom web applications and internal databases, and implement management solutions that leverage the full power of information technology.
Open Organize seeks a graphic design intern to join our web development team working on two ambitious, Web 2.0-enabled progressive websites focused on combating poverty and accelerating solutions to global climate change. We seek candidates who will work well with a small team of dedicated activists and technologists, and have a passion for using design to create positive social and environmental change.

Interns may work full- or part-time, but must make a minimum three-month commitment. This internship is appropriate for undergraduates, graduate students, and individuals looking to start a career working with graphic design or web technology in an advocacy environment.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients and stakeholders to integrate design elements into website development plans
- Build out websites in a collaborative programming environment
- Support and maintain client websites
Relevant Skills (you are not required to possess all these skills)
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Web Design, including CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX frameworks
- Knowledge of Web Programming
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and on deadline
- Experience working for progressive non-profits or political campaigns
Start Date: October (flexible)
Compensation: Interns will receive a modest stipend and transportation subsidy.
